What Do I need to bring to class?

I supply blocks,bolsters and blankets, yoga straps and thick yoga mats. If you have a mat that you prefer to use, bring it.  I also would recommend bringing water, as hydration is always important. 

I've never done yoga. Can I come to your class?

I try to make every class that I teach available for all skill levels.  I give options for alternate poses, and really strive to teach in a way that makes everyone feel comfortable.

Where is your space?

We are located in the lowest floor of the Crescent Commons building, 165 Main Street in Cortland.  The entrance is in the back of the building.  You walk in, go past the coffee window, go down the stairs to the left, and then swing around to the right.  The studio is in suite 18L

I'm not flexible.  Isn't Yoga just stretching? 

We do stretch, and Flexibility is something you improve, not something you have or you don't.  There is so much more involved in our classes. We work on focusing on our breath and learning how to calm our nervous systems. We move our bodies building strength and endurance, and increase  our mobility and flexibility.
